About Pat Prescott

After 13 years of enormous success as the Morning Show host of the Smooth Jazz radio station in New York, Pat Prescott came to the Wave in Los Angeles,  3 plus years ago,  to host the Morning Show with Dave Koz. 
 

She's a deep and caring human being with a huge spirit that she radiates generously to the world.   In this conversation she describes how she translates that caring into service on-air,  by also hosting The Wave's public service program, "Visions & Views". 

She also  talks about her evolution from a High School English teacher to a highly rated and award winning broadcaster, her relationship with Dave Koz, and a book she's writing about her great passion, sports.

Our friendship has grown and deepened as we've discovered the many things we have in common...especially the fact that we're both Pisces, born two days apart.  We've celebrated our birthdays together for the past couple of years and share the same philosophy about them...celebrate as long as possible.  This year we managed to keep it going for a full month.
